New truck option

Okay guys, I am driving a Chevy K10 pick up truck 10 bolt front 12 bolt back. 305/th350/203. i have the option of buying a one ton Dodge ram, with a 440 I believe, and 1 ton running gear
D60's front and back
NP205
86 body, on a 81 frame

i haven't gone to look at it yet, but it is 2000 with a 6" lift un istalled for it too 1800 with out, i beleive tires are included.
should i sell my truck for the dodge or buy the dodge and part it out?

The Mopar sound from a 440 is mouth watering to me.

If its in good enough shape I would probably jump on it, that 440 is a wicked badass motor.

i don't diss the chevy name either, I am in love with old scotty (scotty is the big brown chevy I am currently driving). I really doubt selling him, maybe turn him into a classic stocker, or maybe four tire burning monster amchine, but who knows, i want to beat the Sh** out of a truck, and 1 ton material sounds like it can handle it.

well i would probably get the dodge and part out what i could not use, myself i just dont think i could give up my chevy.

Do a front plate mount setup. Put the 440 in the Chevy, along with the 1 ton axles. Dare to be different.

what year 440, the last year was 1978 and it had 180 hp. Sucks to have that one.

Then you might as well swap a chevy body onto the dodge frame. I am chevy at heart but I wouldnt be opposed to owning a dodge, ford, etc. If it has 4 wheel drive and runs I would take it out and give her hell. Thats the fun part anyways.

Now I don't have the cash, and won't for a while.... should I try and sell old scotty for a better equipped truck? or should i just wait, it would be months before I got out of the red, and into the black, and then start saving.....
