Well guys i got a 1ton dump body from a friend for the axles/tranny/tcase.. i knew the frame and stuff was rusted.. but had no idea until we pulled it outta the weeds at her house. The 14bolt stayed where it was... and rest of the truck came with it because the frame was so rusted. I am just going to cut it all up and scrap it. Oddly enough the 14bolt is not really rusted at all... lil surface rust and the dana 60 is covered in oil so its safe too haha. The truck from the cab back is GONE... but the frame cab forward and cab is almost all intact except for rocker panels... anyways.. here are some pics! oh and it has 456 gears!

That is some pretty wicked bad rust. Another lucky 60 owner. Did you get a good score?
 
WOW I never seen a frame rust in half exept on an old jeep CJ5 that was used to pile salt at the state road shed (snow blade)

wow scrap prices on that really gotta be worth quite a bit, scrap by me is $120 a ton or something like that.
 
put that dumb bed in the paper some one will snag it for a few hundred bucks rather then geting a hundred for it at scrap
 
got the truck for 500bucks... yeah i was gonna sell the dump bed.. cept its so rusted through on the bottom.. u'd have to put a new floor on the bed.

a sheet of steel is nothing to the right buyer. dump bodies are not cheap. and YOU SUCK, $500 is a great deal.
 
I agree, you suck. You'll end up making money off this deal I'm sure. With a free 60, tranny/transfer. I gotta find a deal like that.
 
quick question...how the heck do i get the dump body off.... so much rust adn stuff i dont even know where to begin or what to cut or what not to cut..

strip the drivetrain and sell the dump body with the rest of the truck. let the next owner deal with it.
