Found a 2000 K2500 with a 7.4L 454 backed by a Nv4500 with 142k. Picked it up locally for $6K which was pobably to much but i couldnt pass it up. Truck was beat up and probably had never been waxed in 13 years by the original owner. So i put way to much time into it and brought it back to life. Buffed and pushed all the metal straight again PDR the whole truck to and amazing finish

Do i i collect parts and SAS a HP60 under it or keep it as a tow rig for the K5?

Thoughts on truck? I also threw a tailgate on it. It will be getting some black paint soon

Love the look of that with the newer wheels. Really sharp

thats one clean OBS!

Id keep er stock and rock it till the wheels fall off......than SAS er :thumb:

WOW!!!! That is a beautiful truck! Keep it stock all the way. LOVE IT!

I say keep it stock and leave the K5 as the wheeler. Level it up a little bit and drive it.

I included a pic of my old 98 K3500 it has a 4" and 33's on 18s.

8654k30 that's a great looking truck. I do want to level it out but I don't want to ruin the smooth ride. I've had other k2500 that I cranked up and bounced all over the road. I want to thow some 285s or > on and call it good. Maybe level a little if I have to

I gotta get some cab lights. I really like your truck!

I hear ya, that black truck drove like crap with the tuff country lift on it, never could get it aligned correctly.

Here is a picture of the one I have now, about a 1" crank anymore and the upper control arm contacts the bumpstop. Has 265/75/16's on the PYO HD wheels. Drives great with no headache!

Wow I wanted a white ext cab just like that before I found this one. 1" crank looks good. I may have to do that

PYO wheels look better than any GM wheel ever made. You have good tastes lol

88-98 or 00 8 lug trucks had lift kits that droped the upper control arm down with the lift kit . this made them dam near impossible to keep a alignment in them .

if you wana lift one look if thay sell a raised knuckle kit or sas that sucker.

but if me and wanted ride + 2855 on it . i wwould do a full 3" body lift with all bumper raise brackets / gap gaurds / and other stuff to make it look as close to stock as possible.
