i picked up an 87 recently and its got the TBI setup on it and its also got a motor with the centerbolt valve covers on it. supposed blown head gasket.
is this the stock motor or a newer style? is this an LS1?
whats so special about this motor type?
can i use this intake on a non centerbolt head?

hope yall can see this:confused:
i am completely new to FI and tearing down a motor. also the dilema is to just do a stock rebuild, or intake and came with new hot injectors?
any sweet good bang for your buck upgrades?
sorry for all the questions but i never had this stuff before. thanks!

its the stock motor, nothing special about, u can use different heads, but u are going to have to modify the 4 middle bolt holes on the intake, if u do change the heads or more... your going to run into running problems especially if they are not computer friendly u are going to have to get a custom chip, personally i would keep it stock. custom work--custom problems
