I liked the look of the CUCV brushgaurds, and happened to have one, but I did not like the interferance with the headlights. I cut and moved the verticle sections in 3 inches and it fit perfectly. I also cut a horizontal section from the middle, added light tabs and mounted a small pair of lights....

that looks pretty good

Nice work! I guess the CUCV brush guard was never designed for the baby quad front clip...although your's looks like it was now. :waytogo:

how do you like those Hella's? Any spec's on them?

Thanks guys.

It interfered with the headlights and didn't look right at all before. It is a nice brushgaurd though, I was surprised at how strong it is.

As for the lights, I decided to pull out all of the wiring for all of the lights and start over:rolleyes: , so I haven't hooked them up yet, but they are well built and heavy. Very heavy.

I like it. I put a cucv bumper on my burb, now I need to cut and relocate that vertical bar. That looks great. With the bar in front of the lights it definetly does not look good, but the inner lights are the high beams so it does not mess with driving.

A quick hijack...:o since at least a couple of you are running them. I'm considering installing the shackle mounts, but I need to know how much space is available between the two since I am running the Warn multimount. Could I trouble someone to measure that distance for me? Any help would be appreciated.

Look like 28 inches.

Thanks! I'll have to measure my Multimount on Monday. If the tolerances are tight would you mind if I PM'd you for exact measurements? Thanks again.
