New URL link feature

Also autolink smileys, just type :) to get the smile icon instead of [smile] allthough that still works.
 
The hyperlink still works doesn't it?
I like that for the 6 line addys.

I really like the fact that you included a lot of "newbie Q&As" in the FAQ. This should lead to a lot less "Why am I a pavement pounder??" questions.

A lot of cool stuff coming in version 6.0 including rateing users and posts, I'm sure you guys will like that.

The corvette forum had to go to a user rating of 0 - 100 (less than 25 you cant post, 100 is golden etc) for when the moderators had to affect behavior.

Is that what you are talking about or is it some sort of automated post/day thing?
 
Not sure on the pics until I get my server issues to go away, we had a load of 43 earlier today and that did not make me happy, if we had pics it would be even worse.
 
No, you can rate a postif you like it or it gets a certain number of replies, something like that.
 
I just can't figure out the signature-hyperlink thing.............must be a blonde moment. Used to be ONE TON TPI'd BEAST..............and it would be simply 'ONE TON TPI'd BEAST'......................now can anyone help me..................it doesn't work the same with UBB............hence the different sig today...............there's a 'url=link' that I couldn't finger out............/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
 
I'm glad I am not the only one lost on this point... I liked typing it out like that because when you post it gets rid of the crap and simply has the name you type in of the link... a nice feature if you are posting a link with an addy 5-6 lines long! I see lots of people had links in their sigs like mine and even with how you explained it Steve I still am ridin' the short bus and slow on the how too... /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
