The wife surprised me with some trick Valve covers for Christmas.
Should look good with the TPI.

I was thinking of painting them the same as the 572 Big Block valve covers.

I"d leave them like that, I don't remember what you painted your block but If it was black those would look sweet.

Only took me a year to finally install these things but here they are.
I ditched the reg bolts for some fancy ARP stainless 12 point bolts too.

Used some FelPro rubber gaskets to seal them up.

These are the breather and PVC gromets that came with the valve covers(part #).

Unfortunatly one of the gromets was too big and did not fit either the PVC or the breather.
I went to my local Canadian Tire store and looked in the "HELP" section(You Americans have those "HELP" sections in your auto parts stores too) and was able to find a replacement gromet.
Here is that part#.

I like em.
What suks is now they make the TPI look dirty.

Give them a quick shot of clear. It seals up the pores on the cast aluminum. Keeps them pretty longer.

Nice Wifey

I didn't know you had that motor stuffed under the hood, your truck looks stock.
That is seriously awesome, totally jealous:bow:
Maybe next year I'll ask for a crate motor see what I get:haha:
