new way to move rear axle 2in front or back. looky looky

I'm no engineer but it looks like if you run the axle 2 inches back it would help a tiny tiny bit with axle wrap. The whole leverage thing. I like the idea even if it does add axle wrap. That can be addressed in other ways. Now DIY4X needs to make a beefier set for 4" tubes.

I built my own spring perches that moved my rear axle back 1.5" and I simply made the perch longer (in both directions) to help eliminate axle wrap.

I have done a couple sets like that for some guys

IMHO you need to add some gusseting the first set I ever built looked almost exactly like those, they tore off the housing after about a year.

Zero-rate is good for the guys without a welder.

If you have a welder and a few skillz, you can build an offset spring perch instead.

Almost any soft leafspring is going to twist without an anti-wrap bar; I wouldn't avoid this product based on that concern.

i do have a welder, and can fabricate smaller stuff like this no problem. i geuss off setting it like this just never occured to me for whatever reason. seems like a good idea.
