I am cosidering buying a 72 K5. The windshield frame is rusted beyond repair on the drivers side. Does anyone have a source for new windshield frames? Price?

that sucks. your only choice is to find a donor vehicle that you can take it off of...unless someone recently has started offering this for sale. good luck.

ya all they offer for patch panels on the windshield pinch seam is the upper part that attaches to the roof of a c10 pickup other then that rgv72blazer is right find a arizona blazer frame or anyone with a rust free tub they are parting out and see if they will cut it off for ya!

if you can't find a suitable donor truck, maybe you could use the frame from a half-cab k5 or a pickup and just run a soft top instead of the factory full hard top. honestly i'd rather do that, anyway. saves a lot of weight.
