NEW Windstar Fans - changed plans

Ok, so i got a little caught up in the moment reading here on CK5, and ordered a set of windstar fans, new, off of ebay. Ever happen to you?

After looking into the cost and complexity of settting up a good thermostat switch setup, and realizing that its WAY down on my priority list, i have decided to sell the fans.

Am i going to lose money? For sure. Will i feel better about the bad decision when they aren't sitting in my living room? Definitely.

I paid $60 +$20 shipping, and the guy woudl take them back, but i'd be out about $40 total for shipping back and forth. Thought i'd try to make someone on here a deal on a new set of fans before i send them back.

So, what sounds fair? How does $55 sound, local pickup? You save $25 on a new set of fans. If that doesn't sound good, make me an offer, trying to cut someone a deal that doesn't want to go the junk yard route. Pickup a set of connectors at the yard, and have a NEW, reliable set of fans!

I live in Davis (Sacramento), and work in the south bay, so i can meet a variety of places for pickup.

What are the dimensions on that unit? I'm talking about the overall dimensions of the shroud.
 
Truthfully, i haven't even opened the box. I can bring it down to Fremont in a week and you can look at it if you want.
 
Had to drive the bimmer down today, but i'll grab the fans next week, and we can meet up after work.
 
I'm still waiting for him to bring them to Fremont so i can see and probably buy them from him.
 
Sorry for the delay guys. I am not going to ship them, after the cost of shipping, its probably cheaper to buy new from where i bought these.

Scott, i finally brought them home this week, but have been in davis every other night this week. I am available monday or tuesday nite if you want to swing by next week and take a look. Give me a call on sunday or monday.

Sounds good. I'll be tearing into my VSS so i can take it to a friend and get it soldierd up to adj for my new 33's :)
 
Ok, update. Scott decided to go a different direction, so they are back up for grabs. I am in Davis, CA full time now (Got laid off :() so who wants them?
