I've rebuilt them before, but for the life of me I can't remember what it takes too just swap the front output

Newb question, Can you swap NP205 front outputs with case in the truck?????

I just swapped it out on mine but did it outside the truck. It made it easier being able to place the front side of the case downward and drop the shaft it. Im sure its possible to do it in the truck. I would have done mine in the truck if the case wasn't already out.
