Heck, I've gone so far as to use a turkey baster to add fluid to my t-case or differentials. May not be the cleanest or the quickest, but it worked.

i always use the top of a gear oil bottle.works pretty good.just dont squeeze it hard as was said before.it gets real messy real quick.

Just did mine today. Walmart now sells a little funnel that is supposed to screw to the oil bottle (only $0.50). I didn't screw it to the oil bottle, but it fit right into the fill hole and you can tip it up to pour into.
