I bought a k5 online and it has 1 ton supension. What does that mean to us common folk?

1 ton is typically dana60 front and 14bolt axles. (this is not factory for a K5)

3/4 ton is typically 8 lug front dana44/10bolt and 14bolt rear(ff or sf)

1/2 ton is 6 lug front dana44/10 bolt and 6 lug 10 bolt or 12 bolt axle.(all k5s are 1/2 ton)
