this is my first post question so go easy on me guys.
Do all 1 ton chevy pickups( 1970's era) have Dana 60 front axles? Or are there some that have Dana 44's or something else? Not sure of the year, just 70 something.
thanks

GM did not start running 1 ton 4x4 until '77. That is the point that the D60 was available. Make sure the truck is a K30 for the D60 and then confirm that it has king pins instead of ball joints to make sure that it is the correct axle. You could get a 1 ton 2 WD though.
