I keep seeing people talking about using zero rates for lift on the rear suspension. What are zero rates? Are they like over load springs or what? BTW...if you couldn't tell i'm new.:o While im at it where should I post pics/progress of my build?

They are as the name implies, a short spring that adds nothing to the spring rate. They allow you to move the axle forward or back and add about 1" to the suspension height.

I see! Thank you. How can they move the axle forward or backward? Where can I get zero rates?

they are "technically" an AAL, but the are more like a 1" (or other amount) lift block. the only main difference is they bolt into the spring pack instead of being held on by just the u bolts. i made some 3" ones for a buddy that needed the offset and already had 3" blocks, and didnt want the extra 1". killed two birds with one stone on that one.
