I am trying to make sure I understand rim size correctly. Is a 16" rim the same as a 16.5"
I am wanting to get tires and rims for my a dana 60 and do not want ti misunderstand what i buy.

so are they the same or actual different size rims ?

Totally different everything! Don't try to mount one on the other, won't work. If you have 16 rims, need tires for 16s...

Better off going 16". 16.5 tires are getting harder to find and the 16's have more options anyhow

16's are deffinetly more popular these days, 16.5 is kind of old school HD. Another advantage of 16's is that they hold a low psi tire on much better then a 16.5 will, due to the difference in the design of the bead on the rim itself.
