Newbie Question.... Rear main seal Step by Step???

Could somone give me some info on replacing the rear main?

I have the motor on an engine stand. Flipped upside down and the oil pan off.. Im selling this motor. I want to replace the rear main and the oil pan gasket before i give it to the buyer. what do i do to replace this rear main? Thx.

if its a 85 and older block, then
remove rear main bearing cap
remove the old seal from cap
using a small screw driver, push out old seal from block making sure no to damage the crank surface
using the seal protector, carefully push on new seal on both block and cap
reinstall cap and torque to specs

if 86 and newer block
remove flywheel/flexplate
using a pic remove the old seal
install the new seal
replace flywheel/flexplate
