got a cobra 29 ltd classic (free and it works), just purchased a k40 plus 6000 watt antenna, astatic mike, 6 ft of 75 ohm rg-59 u coaxial cable.

-is this a descent setup?
-will the cable and antenna be good enough for a bigger connex?
-looking for a good reputable cb shop in the grand jucntion area or salt lake city or denver
-trying to find a sheet metal hood mount that i don't have to pay 15 dollars to ship it. ideas? homemade?

do you mean a hood mount that over hangs the fender if so i should have one round here some were
