Newbie tire help

Hey guys

Just picked up a 89 that has the stock size tires, looking at a set of 33X12.5X15...will they fit without any lift or fender mod?

Quick answer is unlikely. Factory wheels or other? Backspacing plays a role.

33x10.5R15's as far as I've heard (my truck included) will not rub on stock wheels.

There's a sticky at the top ALL about tire sizes. Depends on the age of your truck, i.e. how worn the springs are, the wheels and backspacing, and phase of the moon.

I ran 33x12.50's on stock 15x8 ralleys, both on my '74 and my '85, on the street with no issues. I'm sure if I had tried to flex either truck, they woulda rubbed ... and the '74 woulda popped something
