Newbie w/a New Nightmare

Hey I lost a Jeep top that way once, could be a totally valid story, and let me tell you it’ll wake you up on your way to work!

The hood on the pigeonrat is held on only by hood pins. I forgot to put the cotter pins back in one time and watched it float up and over the car at 45mph. That was scary. I thought sure it was going to nail someone, but luckily it just dropped behind the car and I was able to run over and grab it before anyone ran it over.

My GF has a Jeep renegade with the removable roof panels and we lost one of them getting on the highway, I thought the same thing, that’s gonna come down on another car, but it didn’t and I was able to run back and grab it as well, the jeep top exploded on impact and was promptly run over by a truck axle dump truck

Excellent! I'll let you know what Blazer stuff I have you may need. Most of my Corvette stuff is C3. I have a plastic gas tank for sure.

Thanks! I surely might need a gas tank. Haven't gotten that far yet. I have a C3, a 70 L-46 Convertible "under construction at the moment..." This is my car a few yrs ago with my son's C7.

Yeah, those tires were unsafe (due to age) at the the time of the pic. It's been off the road for almost 3 years and they're still on it. lol Only the '64 has been NCRS judged (and that was back in the 90's iirc) by the PO... I'm not too concerned about keeping 'em NCRS approved.... I just like to drive 'em!

Hahahahaaaaa! Love the vette enhancements! I never thought about that. Is that a Blazer column with the vette steering wheel? That's a great idea I will borrow! Is your Blazer Medium Bronze? (that's what mine is supposed to be)

Yes. Medium bronze. For the wheel just got the hub adapter. Used Corvette flame orange to restore the gauges. Used ice blue LED bulbs. Looks great.
