Just wanted to say hello to all. :D I own a 1986 K5 Blazer. It was a forestry vehicle. My K5 has 69,000 original miles, with all service records. My K5 is all original, 350 4BBL, TH700R4 trans, 10 bolt rear with 3.08 gears, 31 gallon gas tank, full gauge package(oil press., volts, etc..), 31x10.5 tires with 15x8 0r 10's ( not sure) deep dish wheels. My K5 is as basic as it gets as far as the interior goes. Just wanted to say that this is a great site!!

Welcome .. :waytogo:

Basic is good.. less to worry about. Mines the opposite, and nearly mint inside except for the faded carpet.. and I'll end up pulling most all of the stuff out to keep it simple. :doah:

Welcome.. I'm new here too. Very cool site with a lot of cool helpful posters.. I feel like they are family or something. :D

31 gallon gas tank

Where does all that go on a Blazer?? I didn't think there was room! Is it one tank or two?

Just one tank. I guess it was an option that came with the guages, 15x8 deepdish wheels, etc.. I think that was a package deal when ordered by the forestry back in 1986. :D

A 31 gal tank has been an option since 73. It's what I have in my 89. My 84 had the 26 gal (?) I think that's what it was anyway.
