I remember seeing a cool ~ 1997 Pickup in a magazine a while ago. I think it was in a add for a company making rims..

(Why dont they use portalhubs (F.ex. H1 ?) so they can maximise travel - with a driven frontend ?)

Actually the 2wd would be really swet too have too! :D And the 2wd drives go just fine! :D All that HP and suspension that could soak up huge hits! :thumb:

There used to be a nice K5 on offroad.com.... It was Charcoal grey with some metal looking graphics painted ont he side. It was 2wd and said to cost $185k... I used ot have pics saved. I'll see if I can find the ride...

Lets see that K5 ! Im looking for a picture I saw a while back of a ~ '95 turquoise Pickup with mad flex and COs in both ends. Anyone ?

Yeah, that is sweet. Im not to partial to the front "brushguardthing" and the fact its 4x2, but..

The 2wd part doesn't bother me cause these types of trucks are mostly found in the west and in desert areas. Dont really need 4wd there. And they are made to go fast and absorb bumps/jumps.... :thumb:

Yes, but try that in some *loose* sand. I would prefer 4x4 no matter what terrain, it would also make it more universal - no matter what !

Maybe half of them ? :D Did someone bother to post a link in the IFS Forum to this Thread, BTW ? And maybe other BBs too - maybe we will get more input..

Even in loose sand the go well. Look at the 2wd class for desert racing! :thumb:

4wd woul dbe nice, but not a necessity.

So youre trying to say you have the same amount of traction with drive on only two wheels - versus four ? :p:

LOL, no.. I am saying from what I have seen you can have alot of fun in the sand with a 2wd prerunner! :D

Well, thats true ? But ditching the 4x4 on a 4x4 truck is like mounting leaves all around on a TJ.. :D Lets hope the K5 *was* a 4x2..
