newer chevy wheels

i was wondering the same thing for mine. im running 74 k 20 axles. the kid i got it from put 16.5" rims. im thinking those rims might rub the calipers, but not sure

whats the back spacing? are they about the same as the H2's (5.5" BS)? if so, they might be perfect on my DRW axles (in addition to my h1's :))those are perfect for XL's or XML's. im considering a set for my truck so i can run a cheaper tire on the street.

here are pics from supersize75k5's build, hes got those rims with the XL's, i think it looks pretty good

I have a set in my shed. Their backspacing is around 5". I'm running some of the steelies off of a 2007 on Big Ugly and their backspacing is around 4.75" or so. If you're running a narrow tire they work well and keep the tires under the fenders. However with the stock steering it'll be pretty easy to tag the drag link. I had to limit my steering to the right to keep the tire from eating up the drag link like the last set did.

GM kept the 8 lug wheels dimensions and backspacing pretty similar throughout the years. 16-16.5" tall, 6.25-7" wide, and 4.25-5" of backspacing.

There is a black Burban for sale on here running those wheels, tucked in a little, but still looks good.

I like those wheels. Was lookin for new wheels for my DD but did they come in 6-lug??

If not i reckon i'll have to go with these

The 8-lug wheels on the newer 2500 and 3500 trucks have a pretty "normal" back spacing to them (as compared to older factory 8-lug rims), the only reason they stick in so far is that they are only 6.5" wide. Keep the same BS but on an 8"+ rim and they will stick out.

On the other hand, the 6-lug wheels found on the 1500 trucks have a lot of BS to them.
