So I'm replacing the hydroboost in my wife's 04 K2500 Suburban. It's leaking all over the damn place. I bought a re-manufactured unit out of ease to replace. I'm thinking about attempting to rebuild the one I am replacing. Any idea if it will bolt up to my 89 Suburban? Or am I going to have to drill new holes in the firewall? I also figure I will buy a new master cylinder for it also if I go ahead with the swap. Any other things I need to watch out for?

I know the hydroboost from the IFS-era trucks ('88+ pickup, '92+ others) are different from the squares, so I doubt an even newer one would bolt up.

Also, yes, you have to change the master and other stuff when converting to hydro... heck, search on my name, I've been thru it before.
