Newer Silverado seats in K10/20 single cab?

I'm sure this has been extensively covered somewhere, but has anyone installed newer Silverado seats in a single cab truck? Did you cut the floors? Special bracket?

I have a welder and not afraid to use it.... Any pics or links would greatly be appreciated.

I have tried the search function to no avail. Most of the links are not supported from old threads. I'm sure there is some examples buried in build threads.

How new are you talking? I've seen just about everything swapped in. 05-13 regular cab truck sets are pretty common and most come with a nice usable center console.

Should be a few decent pick a part type places near Clarksville.

If you want to keep your factory brackets a set of jeep replacement seats would work fine or virtually any type of "race" seat like corbeau.
