I'd like to change out the front buckets when I replace the carpet on my K5 and am wondering: which, if any, of the GM seats are a direct swap?

I'm going through the same thing right now, but I have a 1974. So far nothing is a direct swap that I have looked at. I wound up with some sweet buckets out of a 2004 Audi, but I had to modify the factory brackets to work until I do my cage and incorporate some mounts into that.

i did the same thing, and no bueno, so i did this
1"x1" square tube, it was really easy, i have better pics but i cant find em right now

My K5 has some cloth buckets from I believe a Grand am that bolted right in to the stock brackets/sliders.
