Next year?

I didn't go to this one this year, but I'm thinking it's gonna be a very distinct possibility to go next year....


So when's it gonna be?

The last three years have been the first full weekend of October. I see no reason to change that up. The weather seems to be good, nice time to get to Moab etc.

I would plan on sometime in the first few days/weeks of October.

Thats a good weekend. Some kids will be off for Columbus Day on the 9th.

That's when the Elk hunt starts

Oh well, it was a little expensive doing both of them back to back this year. Guess I will have to make the choice when the time comes next year

Of course it doesn't help when my dad is throwing the guilt trip on me, "You know I don't have too many Elk hunts left in me so you better come along....... "

It's not like I am going to shoot any Elk when I am sleeping on the side of the mountain anyways
