Is that one of those traction lifts? Where the traction bar is attached to the blocks he claims are not there? A friend of mine had a setup like that on his dodge it just seamed to always want to spit the block/tractionbar out and loosen the u-bolts.
That truck TOTALLY reminds me of the first blazer I built. But thats built better and its newer as mine was a 78. I stacked leaf springs to make 1 huge leaf pack and WAY over built the engine. Think drag car engine in a heavy blazer with big tires and no stall in the TQ converter to speak of. It turned out to be a pig and actually drove worse than a stock engine because you could never get it into its power range in the RPMs. Not to mention the rough ride and the fact that it simply would not keep a front driveline in it
I did however sell that 1st blazer for more than I had into it
I submitted a question about said nonexistent blocks. We wait for his most suredly "expert" response and input as to how that is the new wave of futuristic styles of lifts and how we are just mere mortals that don't know squat.
That truck doesn't have AC, thats why there are no vents in the dash pad / instrument cluster. My truck doesn't have AC either, so it is a perfect match, lol
Yeah I saw the truck this morning on Ebay. Nice truck but how much are they asking for it? Not alot of rust and the interior is pretty good. Too far, and too much for me.
