Nice K5 for sale in Alberta

Are we back to to 1999 exchange rates? LOL. Nice truck, way too much money though. Stocks, gold, property, great investment. Cars, even vintage Ferrari's, bad investments. $5K in repairs, $7K tops. Eekk.

What option package are those rear seat belts? Never seen any Blazer with a seat belt setup like that. Might be nice for my kids, but I am not spending that kind of cash on a Blazer, I just don't have it.

Seat covers and stained carpet, says its rust free and there are tons of pics but none underneath or the engine. I want to see everything if someone is asking 14k. "4 wheel alignment." I didn't know you could align a rear straight axle.

says its sold??

Well ive done a rear alignment before.....the centerin pin sheared off on my 14bolt and the u bolts loosened up, my rear end started going sideways......plus it can also be off center, so really there is such a thing as a 4 wheel alignment.

I wouldn't call that an alignment, more like fixing something that was broke. If the center pin broke on my front axle and I fixed it, that would not be an alignment. If your rear axle is not where it should be on a k5, then there is something broke, bent, or worn out. There is no way to adjust it to fix that, that would be an alignment. 4 wheel alignment is mainly on front wheel drive, and independent rear suspension.

definition of 4-wheel alignments:

There are two main types of 4-wheel alignments. In each case, the technician will place an instrument on all four wheels.

In the first type the rear toe and tracking is checked, but all adjustments are made at the front wheels. This is done on vehicles that do not have adjustments on the rear.

The second type is a full 4-wheel alignment where the adjustments are first made to true up the rear alignment, then the front is adjusted.

I just don't understand on a k5 with a straight axle up front how any adjustment up front will affect how the rear tracks. The only real adjustment on a k5 is toe-in.

they have to match the front to the rear setup, just aligning the front may not work

Almost worth it for $14,000 if its as nice as they say it is

14k??????? are they on glue. 5k TOPS. when did people forget that routine maintenance on wear items does NOT add to the value of a vehicle.
