Nice NOS GM Hood!

to me, that's crazy money... NOS qrter panel, yeah... door? maybe..... but clean hoods are a dime a dozen even in rusty areas like jersey.. heck, i've cut quite a few over the yrs for patch scrap...

now, an NOS cowl induction hood for a Chevelle, well, that's a different story... ;)
 
ah yeah.. don't get me wrong, it's freakin rare.. definitely not much NOS sheetmetal around for K5's... and it's amazing it's that clean.. usually you'd see a few dings and scrapes at this point..

any EDP coated piece automatically gives me collision shop flashbacks! :haha:
 
i got a 81-91 style years ago cause no one bid on it on ebay.

i emailed the guy and got it for 200 bucks and just had to drive 1.5 hr each way to get it.

not worth 850 to me thats for sure.
 
I would give anything pre 80 about twice the value as an 81 up... but not 850.....
 
reason i did 200 was for the truck it was going on was 98% mint minus dended hood in the nose from a hammer from last owner i was told . also got a nos right fender local from a guy for 150 to go with the hood for same damage

otherwise prob would said hell with it and got aftermarket.
 
Now, just think how hard it'll be to get that thing delivered without damage.
 
yep guy i got mine from said he went threw 7 hoods at dealer ship till perfect one showed up. and its 99.9% perfect if you ask me. made me pull it out of the box and show it off to me before we loaded it.

that one on ebay looks perfect too...guy must have kept it up out of the way...
