Nice Original '73 Jimmy. Cheap "Buy It Now" price. Dayum. ***IT'S BACK!***

andonthat note.........I broke the news to MAMA on the phone about dealing on said '73. she didn't shoot it down. So good to go :D

SOOOOOOO???? Was it you who hit the Buy It Now???

I wanna know!

Yeah, I knew that as you had that thread some time back looking for some and I think it was someone back east who had several to choose from. Just never heard back from him.

Thing is, around here, there aren't any CUCV's close by me that are parted out or scrapped. Just gotta find someone who does that for a business or on the side to get them to ship them to me.

Waitttta a minute. You mean somebody WANTS the stock 15x8's, as would come on an 80's K5? :D

You get to remove the layers of paint from the Army and then the PD that painted them black ... but, ah, I'll shoot ya a PM.

Oh yeah, theres seemingly always a guy or two out there that actually like the stock steelies and Rallye wheels. If you've seen the setup on Artzners K5, thats what I like about it with those type of hub caps. I'd love to find a 1st Gen. K5 to put these rims and caps on. Look cool.

BTW, got your PM and replied back. ;)

How could you NOT like this this setup??? :D The next 1/2 ton truck I get will also have this wheel/cap combo but the rims will be painted black...

Oh, no argument that the stock wheels are great for resto trucks ... if I had $$, I'd have considered the Jimmy that started this thread, as I've wanted to do a full-original resto for a while, in addition to my other trucks. As in showroom stock, a real "restoration, like the Artzner-mobile

But most folks don't like 'em, it seems. (I also prefer the ralleys to the hubcap style, but that's as may be.)

Sweet truck . . . .

Hey Luke, if you buy it I've got a TH350 version 205, adapter, input sleeve, chrome shifter, and all, that I have no plans for . . . . . :D

I got the email about the relist......too bad. my money has moved on since then. I have more than that truck is worth in my 47RH now for the conversion.

I live in Boise, about 45 min. from that guy if anyone needs someone to lay an eyeball on it.
