1/2 ton status
Ok so I have been using a cheapo paint gun and now I am ready for something nice that won't wear out. I want one that will last and that will shoot clear basecoat and if possible single stage all in one. And hvlp
I paint golf cart bodies on the side and some of it is smaller stuff no huge pannels or anything. I was thinking a 1.3 tip but I don't know enough about it to decide... The gun I have now is a 1.4..I was going to use the gun I have now for primer or buy another one for primer with a bigger tip.
If 1.3 is too small for metalics could I use my old cheapo with the 1.4 and shoot clear with the new gun and it come out nice? Is it the quality of the gun for the clear coat that really matters??
I really want a nice gun that will give great results and not be a waste of money... So are the sata guns really worth $800??? I was really wanting one in the $300 range I found used sata 4000 guns for about 300 on ebay or should I only buy a new one?
Is sharpe binks or develbiss the best? Which model is the nicest? What about iwata?
