Custom built axle by a professional local shop.

Its a 14 bolt full floater center section

Converted to a semi floater with custom 6 lug shafts and 9in bearing pockets

Has a lock right locker in it and 3.73s.

I paid $700 for the rear and $300 for the locker. Spring pad width is for a non 1 ton truck and the shock mounts are setup for inboarded shocks.

Asking $400. Great option if you bought pricey 6 lug wheels and blew that 10 bolt!

Taking a huge hit on this. I really have no means to try to assist in delivery so its going to have to be local pickup.

I don't understand why people do this.
You can redrill the hubs to 6 lug and run disc brakes for much less.:dunno:
Anyway this setup is pretty close to a 14bSF strength so you should have people interested in it.
By the way it is drum brakes right?

Yeah drum brakes.

whats the axle tube diameter?
How big are the axle shafts, is there any cross reference for them? if I break them are they a totally custom unit?

Yeah the axle shafts are definitely custom but BEEF as hell. No neck down. Only other not parts shelf thing is the outer shaft seals (which I serviced and have the part number for). They arent custom made just a national number thats not regular stock, regular price too.

Axle tube diameter is standard 14bolt full floater. Not sure what that is off the top of my head but its either 3.5 or 4in.

Brakes are standard 6 lug 10 bolt. All the center section stuff is standard 10.5 14 bolt.

was the ring and pinion done? how about the brakes? just wondering how much I might have to put into it.

I went through the ring and pinion when I did the locker. The axle was also very low miles. I bought it with less than a year of driving on it and I probably only put 5000 miles on it.

Brakes arent brand new but I did do them last year.

Definitely a throw it in and go candidate.
