I just bought this truck a few weeks back. I'm not sure of the history. All of the A/C component are in the truck, but when I turn the AC on I hear the fan start, but no air whatsoever is going through the vents. If I have the heater on, I can feel air coming from the box below the dash.

What should I look at to at least get the air flowing through the vents (even though I know it won't be cold).

I'm not sure what the probem is, but mine has air out the vents, but no heater or defrost.

It's probably a vacuum motor, or could be the control itself.

There is one duct that goes under teh steering column that connects to the lower left hand vent. Not sure where teh feed on teh upper drivers vent comes from. You may be missing duct sections.

Check the air box under the dash on the firewall.. My heat worked fine, but not the a/c. Had a hole kicked in it......(it was used) :D

The ducts have foam seals that deteriorate over time, causing leaks...

Check the cable adjustment at the air door, maybe it's not sealing (closing)
