88K5, all brake lights stock. Fuse is fine. I get hazards so it's not the bulbs. On the brake light switch on the pedal there is constant power going to the orange wire and when the pedal is depressed there is power to the white wire so I know the switch is ok. Anything else I'm missing somewhere? Bad ground for the brake lights somewhere?

Thanks

Check all fuses. Check your connection at the light. Trace the harness from the lights and make sure it didnt get anywhere near exhaust.

Replace light switch.

When you put the hazards on and press the brake pedal the hazards are suppossed to stop flashing, however, mine don't so I think it may be the brake light switch after all. I think I'm going to replace it and see if that fixes it. The plugs ate the rear were clean and tight, so I don't think that affecting it.

Well I replaced the brake light switch and I still had no brake lights. Then I noticed a white wire had come out of the long/flat factory harness/clip that attaches to the right side of the column. So I reinserted that and viola I had brake lights again. So I guess the white wire from the brake light switch and the white wire in that flat plug have something to do with each other....beats me...
