'70 K/5 in garage since November. Pulled it out today and no brakes. Checked and found no fluid. No leaks. Checked last spring and was full. Never had to add in 8 years I have owned it. Where did it go?

i have a perfect working master on my 1ton thats the castiron style like yours would prob be.

every 3-4 months i have to add fluid cause it goes somewere but i have no visable leaks or holes anywere.

i think its a bad casting or somthing along those lines . i think it dosnt seal the top 100% and it evaporates.

someone of these days i will upgrade to the newer style master .

Not that it isnt happening but brake fluid dosent just dissapear. Have look where it bolts up the firewall on the inside of the cab,a bad master can leak out the end of the bore and run down under yorur carpets and floor covering. If its a wheel cylinder it should be low in only one side of the MC if its a dual type. Theres gotta be traces somewhere. remember its water solluable moreless so a leak underside may be gotting washed away if your in rain or snow country.

Probably a bad master cylinder and leaking into the brake booster (assuming it is power brakes) or running down the inside of your firewall and under your carpet or fllor mat like apache said.
