Ok now i have the vacuum problem solved (thanks for your patience with it muddytazz) but for some reason I'm still getting no fire to the plugs,i don't know if I'm even getting fire to the coil, isn't there more wires going to the dist than just the one from the bottom of the dist to the coil?my brain is going into overload trying to figure out this dilemma
An HEI distributor should have a large red or pink wire (12V+) and another plug that goes into the cap next to it that has at least 3 wires(depending on what style and year HEI)that go into the base of the unit to the pickup coil and module..it wont have spark if they are unplugged!...
Ok, I REALLY appreciate everyone helping me with these simple problems,a local guy around here who does circle track just helped me find the wire.Thank you to all that helped me.
