No Fuel getting to the Primary Fuel Filter

Hey guys,

I took the fuel filter off my k20 6.2L diesel. I took it to check it's condiition. Anyway I reinstalled it started the truck up it ran for 1 min nice and smooth and then died. I can't get her started now.

Any suggestions?

likely you have air in the system. Do a search on how to purge and you should be set.

My primary pump failed but those normally dont go bad. you could have a bad primary pump, that feeds the primary filter you see on your firewall so if you get no fuel there then it sounds like the mechanical pump isnt delivering fuel.

While you are working on it change your secondary fuel filter. Those are harder to get to and normally never get changed by "regular" car people. You can see it on the back of your intake manifold under the air cleaner.
