I done a 5.3 swap in the blaze, I had decent heat for a while but now I have zero heat it blows cold as outside air. My gauge reads 200-210. I've checked the coolant level and its full, felt both sides of the heater hoses and they are warm, any ideas?????

there is a little plastic piece that likes to break that controls the flapper door check that

could possibly be a plugged heater core... that's about the only way I can see that you'd have cold core hoses.... Back flush it

My plastic piece is broke, it's been broke for a while. If the stat is stuck open it wouldn't get up to temp right? It was in the 20s when I drove it last, and it stayed at 210.

the tstat shouldn't have any effect on coolant going through the HC hoses...

if your rad hoses are hot your HC hoses should be too....

They are I just went out and messed with it,I let the truck run till it hit 210 felt the HC hoses they were warm opened the radiator cap and squeezed the top rad hose and there was no circulation. Messed around with the controls inside and they are working,it will definitely get a lot cooler when you slide the controller.
