The guy that owned my '71 blazer before me removed the double cv joint from the front drive line. I installed a 6" superlift and now the front drive line yokes hit each other and wont turn. Since it is a 72 and older the front springs came w/o degree shims. Can anyone help me with info to get the front drive line spinning the front tires again?

are you sure it was cv front? my old plow truck was 70 with 4 speed and 205 and non cv shaft from the factory. and shims are easy to install. i recomend cast iron and small hole to install them in with the center pin for best results.

Well just reading through the Nelson repair manual and talking to superlift I read and they told me it was a Cardan joint (double cv). So I am just taking their word for it. Superlift rep wasn't very helpful though.
