So I have a rusty fendered K30 and wanting to run a 40" tire no lift. Is there any way to run crossover with no lift - maybe use a different steering box? ....FJ60 ps box? Ideas?

It's the factory engine crossmember that's the problem, right? What about going with the ORD engine crossmember?

That is the area of concern.
I don't have experience with the ORD cross member but that is where I would start.

I'd also recommend a zero rate not only for an extra inch but for the inch forward.
I run 39's with about 4" of lift (saggy 4" lift springs and a zero rate) and having the axle an inch forward really helps with tire to firewall contact.
