Sad to say this but I'm selling my suburban I love the truck but i'm in college the the gas millage is killing me. Anyways I don't mind selling it to someone on here, but you guys don't know me(mostly because I usually just lurk the forums you guys post enough useful stuff that I usually don't need to ask questions, thank you) so I don't really expect to.What I'm looking for is what you guys think it might be worth I have a friend the restores classics and he thinks it'd be worth 3-5k but thats kind of a wide range so I figured I'd ask the experts. Any constructive criticism is appreciated. I kind of already put it up for 3500$, so I'm just making sure I didn't put it up for too low or something like that.

Here is all the info in a craigslist posting I made: https://eastidaho.craigslist.org/cto/6121923311.html
And here is the same info if you do not want to go to craigslist.

I just bought a car for practical purposes and I'm starting to realize that I probably won't be driving this truck very much at all and as much as I love this truck I don't really have a reason to keep it around. It has the 350 engine, SM465 transmission with the 205 transfer case and it has a twin stick set up haven't gotten around to modify the shift rails though so all it has is 2 lo or hi(rear tires only) and 4 lo or hi. And it has front and rear a/c that works great and it has the rear heater which also works. The rear tires have about 80% tread left and the fronts are at about 50%. it also has 3rd row seating and electric windows and locks, and cruise control.

Things that I have done to it in the last year.
-New distributor, wires, spark plugs(NGK platinum)
-Replace all seals and gaskets on the engine including head gaskets valves seals were bad and the burning oil was annoying it also got new valve springs while I was at it.
-New double roller timing set and I put a mild RV cam in it.
-New radiator, fan clutch, water pump, and A/C condenser
-Repaired the engine oil cooler lines with a more permanent fix
-Rebuilt the SM465( it didn't originally come with a manual so when I put it in I rebuilt it and did a fix to it to keep it from popping out of 3rd while driving)
-Replaced all the bearings in the differentials and swapped the gears out to 3.08's, I needed it to go 80 MPH. I go to St. George a few times a year and being capped at 70 MPH to avoid going over 3,000RPM's was not fun. and with the granny gear it isn't much of a problem getting up and going.
-New heater core
-New Delphi Fuel pump
-New Ceramic clutch
-New IAC, MAP sensor, and O2 sensor
-K&N air filter, and has the TBI Salad bowl mod I got it from jegs
-New driveshafts and U-joints

What is wrong with it
-Transfer case leaks, not very fast though
-speedometer doesn't work, I put a new cable in it so the problem is either in the transfer case or instrument cluster.
-drivers side electric door lock doesn't work, manually its fine though.
-passenger window doesn't roll down without assistance, I'm pretty sure its the regulator since I have already replaced the motor
-Wiring under the hood is kind of a mess I'm not sure why, but I haven't really touched it because it works.
-3rd row seat is a different color than the rest of the interior
-interior roof liner is sagging
-looks like there may have been some previous body work
-its also missing a rubber boot for the base of transmission shifter
-cruise control doesn't work due to speedometer not working
-running slightly lean, the computer is able to compensate for it though it just isn't too happy about it, a 18PSI fuel pressure regulator spring would most likely fix it though, it might make it run rich though, it would handle the PSI too since it has a 60PSI fuel pump from a TPI camaro in it.

I'm trying to be upfront as possible with this truck. Also I don't know the miles on it the previous guy said 170,000 but he could have lied too since it only reads up to 100,000. But I think the interior would be much more torn up if it was at 270,000, the speedo only stopped working a couple months ago too so i know it hasn't been stopped for long. I realize its not a perfect truck but the important things are in good shape it could use some help with cosmetics but I have been putting it off because I'm in college and I figured I can't really do it justice with the funds I have now. If you are interested or have questions please call or text me.

A couple suggestions:
-Clean up that underhood wiring. If I saw that mess I would either lowball or walk. Just get some black loom and tape, but you will probably need to lengthen or shorten a few things.
-Ask around on here and check Craigslist for a matching 3rd row seat. Suburban/Yukon 3rd rows are like the most commonly sold part on the trucks. Plus, the swap is 1 minute and you can get bucks back from selling the one you have.
-For the speedo, pull the speedo housing out of the back of the T-case. It's easy, but note the orientation is was installed in, as it's rotated differently for different gears. If the gear is stripped, you just need a new one. You can also spin the end of the cable with a drill at this point to see if the speedo itself works. Have you checked behind the cluster to make sure the cable is snapped in all the way? You can usually reach it from below just by pulling the heater duct above the brake pedal.

Thanks for for your input blue, I'll see what I can do with the wiring. As for the seat I'll look into it but I looked for 2 months and that was the only one I found and I really needed a 3rd seat. As for the speedometer I'll try pulling the end off the transfer case it should be easy, I already put a new cable in it so I know that it's clipped into the back of the speedometer I double checked it when I installed it
