Well, actually it’s the passenger side, two up front of nothing coming out. The others shoot out like crazy. The motor has 600 miles on it. its in a 90 sub. All the lifters are new. I would be something in the top end right?? I don’t see how it could be in the bottom end. I am giving this one last try. Any help would be great.

thx mike

Pushrods clogged???

Strange only 2 have no oil!--maybe the pushrods are blocked up,only other thing could be a loose cam bearing or other internal 'leak" bleeding the oil pressure off that would normally go to the rockers,or maybe the lifters aren't letting oil go thru--(doubtful if they arent noisy)...maybe someone else has a better idea???...

if you put new lifters in, do you know how to set zero valve lash?

Other then that it maybe anything diesel4me or a collapsed lifter

If the lifters are not adjusted right, it wont squirt the oil out.
Also, if you are using stock rocker arms, the pushrod may have wore a perfect sphere into the rocker arm and making it so the oil doesnt have a place to go. Try swapping the rocker arms and see if the problem follows those ones.

pr just part out the suburban so i can buy those seats!! let me know what your rock bottom price on that burb is mike

Well, i took it to a "pro" to look at and he never got it done. Pushrods are clear. I will try some more of this stuff and see what i come up with. Tom, i will talk with my dad and get back to you on the sub.

thx mike

Check to make sure distributor does not have to be pointed specific direction. Some v8 chevy's I've heard need the distributor to face a specific direction so the oil galley on the shaft allows oil to the opposite side of the block.

No, you just need a distributor or the housing installed for it to let the oil reach everywhere in the block.
