No power steering to right??

Well I just drilled and tapped my box for assist Installed it with the new ports plugged off because I wanted to make sure all is OK before the ram goes on. I had power steering both ways while I bled it, then right after I backed out of the garage I lost it to the right. I have had it on a jack for 10 minutes rocking the steering back and forth and still nothing to the right.

If no one has any thoughts here I'm going to pull the spool valve and replace it with another used one I have.

ya sounds like the spool might be f'd how far in did you drill? you have to be really careful when drilling the holes along with removing ALL metal fillings or else you run into problems like yours but luckily you have a spare :P lol

Found a few problems and and got it working only to fail again. I also found lots of wear in the area where the plastic rings on the spool ride. I didn't drill in to the spool because I removed it first.
I'll pick up a rebuilt box tomorrow and drill that one. I would order one from PSC predrilled but the price is a little high for me.

I did it right. It just kept workin then failed to the right. I got tired of dickin around and waisting fluid so I bought a rebuilt pump and drilled and tapped it. Did everything exaxctly the same but with the rebuilt pump it works great. I got my drilling info from here. Did it just like it said.
