Detroit... well almost
Hey all.

My A/C compressor clutch is not seeing 12V... ever. I'm wondering when it should be seeing 12V. I'm thinking that it should when I turn the heater controls to A/C inside the cab? But isn't the clutch on some kind of pressure switch also that interupts it's cycles?

Help diagnosing problem would be appreciated.

Jump the low pressure switch and see if it works then, if so the system is low on charge or the switch is bad.

In the low pressure (bigger) line at or near the receiver drier (cannister on firewall)
Jump the two pins in the connector together and the compressor should come on.
