No Power!

My 1984 K5 hesitates when I accelerate out of a right turn and can only take hills at 40-50 mph with the pedal to the floor. Is there a short checklist of stuff that I should be looking for to fix the problem?

We need just a little bit more information please. Things like what type of carb, fuel pump is it mechanical or electric, engine size, anything you know that may help us . It could be as simple as a fuel filter, or as bad as float in carb ( which requires opening carb ). Let us know all you can about the truck, one of us will help you /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
