no spark issue

I have an 89 Blazer, no spark. It happened once before, I had it checked and was told it was the distributor. Replaced it with MSD and it was good to go for 6 or 7 months, now no spark again. Can anyone tell me what steps to take to figure this out?

The most probable is the ignition module within the distributor. These are notorious for going bad on GM vehicles, the next would be the pick-up coil, once again within the distributor. Do you have an MSD box or just the distributor? Reason i ask is i had an MSD box go bad on me last year. If you do have a box there is an instruction page on MSD's website on how to check for a bad box. The first thing you need to check though is that you actually have 12 volts going to the ignition coil with the key in the run position.
