No spark on my 292. What to check for??

Was running great until a few days ago. Pulled the cap and it smelled like something was fried. Nothing getting to the plugs either. Any ideas? I know a little about diesels. Not much on gas motors. Thanks Mike

First off, make sure you've got 12V going into the cap. Not to familiar on the 292's, but I'm assuming same setup for cap, one 12V ignition wire in from fuse panel...
