no spark

Truck was running great, went inside for about 30 minutes came back out and it wouldnt fire. First thing i checked were the injectors, spraying plenty of fuel so I pulled a spark plug and we checked to see it would spark and nothing. I had a new ac delco distrubutor, ignition module dropped in about 3 months ago but my guess its either that or the pick up coil. I feel like a retard here but I had a tachometer in the truck for a while but it went out so long story short i very quickly took out and i left the wire running from the pick up coil to the tachomter tucked away, but it got loose and actually grounded to the metal trim peice by the door(today when it wouldnt fire), so thats another thing that leads me to pick up coil. anybody have any ideas? i need my truck badly for school so im trying to move fast as possible. thanx ahead

check the fuses, it probably fried the coil if they are good.

o yeah i already checked fuses, intacted. thanx for the quick response ill pull it out asap

Could be the coil.

But not the pick-up coil. That fires the hall effect device in the module, and creates the injector pulses through the computer on the low side lines.
