No Tapping fluid available, any suggestions for a substitute?

Anything's better than nothing!..
I've used motor oil,ATF,Gear oil,Marvel Mystery oil (which I think works well),and other stuff like Kerosene or Diesel fuel..another thing I've used that worked well was Mopar "Heat Riser Penatrant and Lubricant"--has graphite in it..also used STP,Motor Medic, and plain old LARD!..any lube is better than none when tapping a hole..in metal that is!..K-Y jelly works best on those "other" holes in women ,that have hair..
